The Long-tail boat is Thailand’s most distinctive form of coastal transport. It is powered by an automobile engine that is mounted on a long pole allowing for great maneuverability.
This Long-tail boat was traveling up the coast on the Andaman Sea, as seen from the beach on the island of Koh Lanta, one of the islands off the coast of Thailand where we spent a couple of weeks.
