Marino Ballena National Park (El Parque Nacional Marino Ballena) is located on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica near Uvita. It includes a large stretch of beautiful and mostly deserted beach.

One of the special things about Costa Rica is the outstanding bio diversity. There are so many exotic animals and many can be seen close up.

We had the extraordinary opportunity of visiting a sea turtle preservation site and watching the release of buckets full of tiny turtle hatchlings for their first walk into the ocean. It was a wonderful experience and we took lots of photos and a video.
