We are staying in Ubud at the end of January 2014, and are in a lovely little village in the rice fields. It is very hot in the middle of the day. We walked one day for several hours and drenched in sweat, almost couldn’t make it home.
There have been some clouds and big rain storms and the mornings and evenings are maybe 70°—85° F. At night we have a cool breeze through our second story Balinese style home. We sleep with all the windows open and a fan on and it is lovely and comfortable for sleeping. I easily sit out at night with my shorts on, and riding our motorbike at night wearing t-shirts is fine.
