Ulun Danu Beratan, known as the Temple of the Lake is actually a complex containing within it’s grounds five other temples and a Buddhist Stupa on the shores of Lake Beratan, (Lake of Holy Mountain). It is one of the most important temples in Bali and one of the most exquisite sites we have ever seen.
This temple, Pura Lingga Petak, contains two shrines, Tengahing Segara Temple with eleven roofs, and Lingga Petak Temple with three roofs, believed to be the main water source of Lake Beratan.
